Complete Description

FEVE resins (fluoropolymer based) have a higher gloss and color range. It is the broader range of gloss that allows for FEVE coatings to produce a brighter color palette and retention than its PVDF opposition.

Due to its ability to be cured at ambient temperatures, FEVE based coatings allow fabricators the flexibility of a shop or field application. Fluor polymer coatings also have low permeability to oxygen, water and chloride, offering high degradation resistance when exposed to environmental conditions and airborne pollutants. FEVE resins are easily repairable and are often used to restore PVDF projects that have deteriorated over time.

Used on hundreds of thousands of architectural projects, FEVE resins offer architects a low maintenance alternative to traditional coatings. In particular, these resins are used on building exteriors due to their ability to be applied to a wide range of architectural materials including panels, roofs, doors, canopies, windows, handrails, fences, poles, signs, aluminum, steel, concrete, glass and plastic substrates.
